The Forum marked the launch of a new European Prize for Humanitarian Innovation, aimed at recognising EU organisations that have developed lifesaving innovations. Entries will be open until October 2023 with the prize being awarded at next year’s Humanitarian Forum.

During the European Humanitarian Forum 2023, the new DG ECHO policy on equitable partnerships with local responders in humanitarian settings has been announced.
It will guide staff and partners to move forward towards a more inclusive and equitable localisation agenda.
