Where and when:

  • The two-day event will take place at The EGG, Rue Bara 175, 1070 Brussels. You will be welcomed at the registration desk in the main entrance of the venue.
  • Upon arrival, show the QR code that you will have received by email a few days before the conference. The badge will be printed on-site.

  • Registrations start at 08:00 CET on Monday 20 March. The event kicks-off at 09:00 CET with the Opening Ceremony. A cocktail reception will be served on the evening of Monday 20 March.

  • Wi-Fi access:

  • A cloakroom is available near the registration desk. It will be under surveillance at all times during the conference.

  • To enter the venue, you will have to pass through a security check, including a pre-screening, registration check and metal detector passage. Therefore, you may want to plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the start of the conference and prepare the registration confirmation email that you have received.

Interpretation

The sessions that will take place in the Auditorium, Studio and Aquarium room will be interpreted in Spanish, English and French on 20 and 21 March. The floor language of the conference is English.

Sign language interpretation will only be provided in the Auditorium room on 20 and 21 March.

· Pullman Brussels Centre Midi Hotel is the closest hotel from the venue. The hotel is 10 minutes walking distance from the venue.

· Park Inn by Radisson Brussels Midi is 15 minutes walking distance from the venue.

· Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place is located at 20 minutes by public transportation from the venue.

· The Hotel Brussels is located at 25 minutes by public transportation from the venue.

  • The EGG is a 13 min. walk from the Brussels Midi metro station
  • By car, several public parking lots are available near the venue. All parking options are indicated here
  • From the airport, you can get to the venue by train in about 35 minutes. You can take the train directly inside the airport. Simply follow the signs to -1 floor and get out at Brussels Midi station, the rest is easy!

Side events:

  • Exhibitions will be organised on 20 and 21 March at The Egg, in the Grand Hall and throughout the venue. The exhibitions (stands and pictures) will complement the events of the Forum, as exhibitors will have the opportunity to display best practices, scientific and operational knowledge, as well as innovative solutions related to humanitarian aid operations. Participants can discover the exhibitions during all the breaks and networking moments. For more information about the exhibition, visit this webpage.
  • EHF 2023 is also an opportunity for stakeholders in the humanitarian community to organise Humanitarian Talks. This series of events will be organised at The Egg on 20 and 21 March and will provide an opportunity to debate issues not on the main agenda of the Forum and to focus on the concrete delivery of humanitarian support by showcasing initiatives driven by partners, Member States and practitioners. The Talks will focus on specific humanitarian issues and crises, as well as solutions for delivering support. They are proposed and led by partners and Member States.
