Anticipation Hub

Anticipation Hub
The Anticipation Hub is a platform which facilitates knowledge exchange, learning, guidance and advocacy around anticipatory action. It is hosted by the German Red Cross in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, with funding from Germany's Federal Foreign Office. The Anticipation Hub brings together 110 partners from across the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, universities, research institutes, NGOs, UN agencies, governments, donors and network initiatives (see : www.anticipation-hub.org/about/our-partners).

At our stand

Anticipatory action is a concept promoted in the Forum’s pillar 1: ‘Tackling soaring humanitarian needs: mobilizing resources, improving performance, anticipating and climate related crises’.

Our exhibition stand will give the Forum´s participants an opportunity to interact with experts working on the science, policy and practice of anticipatory action. It is jointly hosted by some of the Anticipation Hub’s partners, which are also ECHO partners; these include the IFRC, the German Red Cross, FAO, MSF and WFP, among others.
