The International Rescue Committee (IRC) helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster—including the climate crisis—to survive, recover and regain control of their future. We deliver lasting impact in the toughest places on Earth and communities across the Americas and Europe.
Our teams provide protection and health care, help children recover from trauma and learn, empower individuals and strengthen communities—always with a focus on the unique needs of women and girls.
The IRC has a photo exhibition and a stall at the European Humanitarian Forum. At the stall, we will shine a spotlight on the people working on the frontline of conflict and disaster-affected areas, as well as the output of our landscape study on developing a protection measurement methodology. Our photo exhibit “Female humanitarians working on the frontlines” can be viewed in the Cozy Corner. The exhibition provides a glimpse into the lives of some of the many women aid workers and community activists working tirelessly on the frontlines with the IRC.
