Biography
Dr. Kathryn Taetzsch, CCD Global Co-Lead (& WVI Global Director, Humanitarian Partnerships & Cash Voucher Programmes). Dr. Kathryn Taetzsch has 23 years of strategic and operational humanitarian response, academic research and private sector collaboration experience in fragile and natural disaster affected contexts in Africa, Asia, and Middle East, and Latin America, with the Institute for Peace Research & Security Studies, GIZ, World Vision. She is a member of SPIAC-B Humanitarian Cash & Social Protection Group, has served as CashCap Board Chair, as well as on UN's Connecting Business Initiative Complex Emergencies' Toolkit Expert Group, Board Member of the Do-no-Digital-Harm Initiative, and as member of Deakin University (Australia) - Humanitarian Leadership Academy Faculty and WVI Cash Academy Faculty. She leads the scale-up of WVI's global CVA and Social Protection and Financial Inclusion Pathways, that reached over 7.8 Mio vulnerable people in 46 countries in 2022, and specializes in disruptive change-approaches for socio-economic resilience and climate change adaptation and self-determination across humanitarian-development nexus.
