Biography
Pekka Haavisto is the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland. Haavisto has wide experience in foreign policy, for example from UNEP Task Forces on environmental impacts of war in the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq, Liberia, occupied Palestinian territory and Sudan. He has been also EU’s Special Representative for Sudan and Darfur and UN Special Advisor in the Darfur peace process.

Biography
Fanny has been working for the CARE International network for 14 years and has been coordinating CARE France policy work since 2013. As an expert in international climate negotiations, she campaigns for a better response from rich countries to the devastating climate impacts experienced by Global South countries. Fanny played a very active role in the drafting of the Humanitarian Aid Donors’ Declaration on Climate and Environment.
